Neven Vrček

Neven Vrček is a researcher, lecturer, and former dean at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics, Croatia (UNIZG-FOI). His areas of academic and professional interest are smart industry, the Internet of things, organizational performance management, and software engineering. 

He is the author of more than eighty scientific papers and several books. As a mentor, Neven successfully advised fifteen PhD candidates and led several scientific projects. 

Besides his academic record, Neven participated in and led numerous professional projects in domains of his interest such as the development of a national interoperability framework, the development of an e-business strategy, the implementation of the balanced scorecard, the development of a national e-invoicing infrastructure, etc. He was head of the doctoral program Information Sciences at UNIZG-FOI, head of a postgraduate program in Public Administration, certified auditor of higher education institutions, and member of scientific boards of several journals and conferences.
