Antonio Jovanovski

Antonio is deeply committed to environmental initiatives and youth engagement across the Western Balkans. In his role as the Regional Technical Coordinator for the “Air Quality in the Western Balkans” program, in partnership with the Swedish Environment Protection Agency (SwEPA) and the Swedish Hydrometeorological Institute (SMHI), he spearheads efforts to improve environmental quality in the region while promoting integration of climate and environmental programming within UNICEF’s Europe and Central Asia region.

Before joining UNICEF, Antonio served as an Environment and Climate Change Officer at UNICEF North Macedonia. However, his passion for environmental advocacy doesn’t stop there. He is the founder of ‘Go Green – Bidi Zelen’, an influential environmental youth NGO based in Skopje. Antonio’s dedication to empowering young people extends to his roles as a trainer at Youth@Work and Erasmus+ National Agencies, where he fosters the next generation of environmental leaders.

As an active member of AIESEC since 2003, Antonio has held significant leadership positions, including President of AIESEC in Macedonia and AIESEC in France. His leadership journey reflects his unwavering commitment to driving positive change both locally and globally.

At ERAC 2024, Antonio will address us with “Connect to impact”, which is also the slogan of the conference.
