Maja is a highly skilled engineer with a Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering and with over nine years of extensive experience in the dynamic realm of automation and robotics. After several years of working in the automotive industry, EU development projects and a start-up company developing industrial exoskeletons, she started working in the pharmaceutical industry. Maja is currently working as Network Technology Lead Robotics within the global engineering team at F.Hoffmann – La Roche, in Basel.
During her career Maja has worked on many projects in the field of STEM education, especially focusing on the problems that women and young girls face in the STEM industry.
At ERAC 2024 Maja will talk about “Why we need more women in STEM” while touching on the issues related to stereotypes, prejudice and integration challenges women face in this business when working abroad.
